Environmental Sustainability
Bombouche is dedicated to providing a quality service that ensures minimal impact on the environment. We operate in compliance with all relevant waste management and environmental legislation and endeavour to make environmental sustainability one of our key business objectives. We ensure our suppliers have the same ethical environmental principles as us and only use envelopes which are recyclable and have been produced in a sustainable way. We also offer sustainably produced paper as well. From aiming to source raw materials which have a minimal environmental impact during manufacture, use and eventual disposal, to using energy efficient lighting and promoting car-sharing, we strive at all scales to maintain lasting initiatives which contribute to sustaining our environment for today and the future.
Recycling
Here at Bombouche, we recognise the environmental concerns of the printing and mailing industry, so we place recycling at the top of our ongoing priorities. All cardboard and paper waste material is recycled and we make every effort to re-use as much of our supplied packaging on site as possible. As a large volume of waste is recycled, we require minimal waste collection removing unnecessary transportation and CO2 production.
FSC® Certification
Bombouche constantly reviews processes and our procedures and our purchasing decisions to ensure that our green credentials are always as spotless as they can be.
We are an FSC® certified company and can supply paper certified as being from responsible sources, please ask us for details.
We can offer you an FSC certified service with FSC Mix or FSC Recycled papers and incorporate the FSC logo to ensure your clients are aware of your environmental commitment.

- FSC standards are globally recognised as the highest social and environmental in forestry
- FSC is the only internationally recognised standard setting organisation for responsible forest management supported equally by environmental organisations and social groups as well as the corporate sector
Bombouche are assessed annually by our FSC auditor, we are proud to display the logo and to be associated with this certification. It has real meaning and benefits to both the environment and future generations.
We stock 100% recycled envelopes and paper as well as eco-friendly biodegradable or recyclable polythene wrapping. We recycle our press rags and are embarking upon the reconditioning and retailing of used boxes we receive every day which are often in perfect condition even after we are finished with them. This will provide a second life for much of our cardboard, which will further delay the need for recycling.
