Direct-to-film

Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing is a modern method for transferring designs onto clothing and other textiles. It has gained popularity in the apparel printing industry due to its ability to produce vibrant, durable prints with minimal setup time. DTF printing uses a specialised printer to print designs onto a film, which is then transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure.

The process begins with printing a design onto a special transfer film. The printed film is then coated with a layer of adhesive powder, which sticks to the ink. After this, the film is heated, and the design is transferred to the fabric with a heat press.
